Inspector (1782)

No scale. A plan showing sectional detail of the deadwood, separate profiles and longitudinal half-breadths for the fore and aft sections of the hull, and an inverted body plan of the Inspector (1782), a ship sloop. A modern pencil notation on the plan identifies her as this vessel, but there is no contemporary confirmation from the drawing. Her identity is confirmed by the extremely fine lines of the hull aft and the unique bulges at the deadwood just forward of the rudder, a feature not seen on any other Royal Navy warship of this period. An further unusual feature of this plan is the use of ticked instead of solid lines.
