Reverse: Inscription, 'IN GRATEFUL COMMEMORATION OF THE CONDESCENSION OF HIS MOST GRACIOUS MAJESTY GEORGE IV, WHO CONFERED (sic) UPON THE TOWN FORMERLY KNOWN AS PLYMOUTH DOCK THE NAME OF DEVONPORT ANN.
