They show interiors of the ships without any people. Even the swimmimg pool is empty of water.
Traces of life have been put here and there: an open bottle of beer, glasses of wine, open books, flowers...
On the picture 14 it is possible to read two titles of books: "The Standard Book of British and American Verse - Preface by Christopher Morley" and "Twilight of Royalty - Grand Duke Alexander of Russia".
The captions - written on negatives - are easy to read.
