A drawing of the Black Prince Class 3rd rate 74 gun warship Melville (1817) as converted to a hospital ship in 1857. Showing a plan of the gun deck with the inscriptions:
-'With the exception of the Pantry, these fittings are in accordance with the suggestions of H J Ellis Master commanding H M Hospital Ship Minden'
-'Fillings for the lower deck in accordance with the suggestions of J H Keaus Staff Surgeon'
