Obverse: Bust of Admiral Keith in a pigtail, uniform and order (left). Legend: 'LORD KEITH K . B . VICE ADMIRAL OF THE RED.' Reverse: A Highland soldier (left) mourning beside the general's monument-an urn with a profile portrait, standing on a plinth with a relief of Abercromby falling mortally wounded from his horse. A trophy is placed behind the monument. Legend: '1801 . SIR RALPH ABERCROMBY WOUNDED MARCH 21 DIED MARCH 28.'
