Southampton halfpenny token. Obverse: Bust of St Bevois in armour and plumed helmet (left). Legend: 'SOUTHAMPTON HALFPENNY'. Below: 'ST BEVOIS'. Reverse: On a shield, two coats parted per pale, dexter a barrel and vine leaves, sinister two blocks, rove as a double whip. Legend: 'BREWERY AND BLOCK MANUFACTORY UNITED COMPANY.' Inscription: '1790'. Milled edge.
