Glasgow halfpenny token. Obverse: A river god reclining, his right hand holding an urn inscribed 'CLYDE' from which water is issuing. Legend: 'NUNQVAM ARESCERE'. Exergue: 'MDCCXCI'. Reverse: Britannia seated, with trident and shield. 'RULE BRITANNIA'. Exergue: '1795'. Inscription on edge: 'CURRENT EVERY WHERE'.
