Obverse: Hope standing on the shore (right), her left hand resting on an anchor, signalling with her right hand to a full-rigged ship approaching under sail. Legend: 'IN TEMPESTATE SECURITAS'. Reverse: A trophy, rayed consisting of a globe and stand (centre), a flag (left), a steering-wheel and caduceus (right) books, festoons and a scroll. Legend: 'VEREIN HAMBURGER ASSECURADEURE.' Inscription: '100'. Exergue: 'ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DAS 100 JÄHR BESTEHEN DES VEREINS HAMB . ASSECURADEURE.'
