Reverse: The admiral's coat of arms with coronet above surmounted by the head of a trident, resting upon two crossed anchors and a trophy of guns, flags, etc. Above, a view of the town of Utrecht; underneath inscription: 'OBIIT 7 JUNI 1672' (Died 7 June 1672).
