Reindeer sleeping bag used by Surgeon Commander George Murray Levick (1877-1956) on the British Antarctic Expedition 1910-14. It is hand sewn and closed by wooden toggles. It also has a metal carrying case with a handle and lid. Inscribed on a label on the bag : 'COLD STORAGE FOR FURS Arding & Hobbs Clapham.' A label on the case is inscribed: 'Sleeping bag used by Surgeon Cdr. G. Murray Levick - Captain Scott's Antarctic Expedition 1910-14 Acq No 52/2'.
