Medal commemorating the Lima campaign, 1881. Obverse: A Maltese cross with five arms, laurel leaves between them; a five-pointed star (centre) surrounded by a band of blue enamel, inscribed: 'CAMPAÑA DE LIMA 1881.' Reverse: Legend, 'REPUBLICA DE CHILE.' (Republic of Chile). Clasps (1) 'CHORILLOS'; (2) 'MIRAFLORES'. Fitted with a loop and ring and red ribbon with broad white central stripe. Presented to officers.
