Medal commemorating the USS Constitution. Obverse: The frigate running before the wind under all sail save for the mainsail. Legend: 'U.S.S. CONSTITUTION OLD IRONSIDES'. Inscription: '1812-1962'. Reverse: An eagle displayed perched on an anchor holding a laurel wreath in its beak from which issues a ribbon bearing the inscriptions 'GUERRIERE' and 'JAVA'. The edge is milled and this is No. 3649 out of 6100 struck.
