Medal commemorating the South London Working Classes Industrial Third Exhibition. Obverse: Two infants supporting a decorative shield bearing a garter belt with motto and the date in the centre. Legend: 'SOUTH LONDON WORKING CLASSES INDUSTRIAL.' Exergue: 'THIRD EXHIBITION.' Motto on shield: 'LABOUR IS LIFE 1869.' Reverse: A mason using a hammer and chisel, working at a bench, behind which on clouds stand three women representing Plenty (left) Victory (centre) and Fame (right).
