(Died fighting for his country). Reverse: Bellona, winged, laureate, bundle of thunderbolts in raised right hand, stepping over the sea, on which in distance antique galleys are fighting. Legend: 'IPSE BELLI FVLMEN.' (Himself the thunderbolt of war). In fitted red circular box.
