Medal commemorating the action off Malaga 1704, and Admiral Louis Alexandre de Bourbon, Comte de Toulouse (1678-1737). Obverse: Head of Admiral de Bourbon in a long wig (right). Legend: 'LOUIS ALEXANDRE DE BOURBON COMTE DE TOULOUSE AMIRAL DE FRANCE'. Reverse: A winged Victory, a palm branch in her left hand, standing on an antique galley containing massed trophies, inscribing a shield on a mast with flag flying and sail furled. Legend: 'BRITANNIS BATAVIS QUE (sic) DEVICTIS'. Inscribed on shield, 'VELEZ MALAGA'. Exergue: 'XXIV AOUST MDCCIV'.
