Medal commemorating the centenary of the battle of Navarino, 1927. Obverse: Busts (left to right) of Admiral Sir Edward Codrington (1770-1851), Rear-Admiral Henri Gauthier de Rigny (1783-1835) and Rear Admiral Count Heiden conjoined, facing (right). Legend in Greek. Reverse: Inscription in Greek, within a laurel wreath tied with a bow (Greece ever mindful of Navarino). Admiral de Rigny and Admiral Count Heiden commanded the French and Russian squadrons under the general command of Sir Edward Codrington.
