Obverse: Head of Queen Victoria in a small diadem, (L). Legend: "VICTORIA REGINA". Reverse: Victory (L) crowns, a seated warrior (R) with a wreath. Suspended from a cusped bar by a crimson ribbon with two blue stripes. Bar: "PERSIA". Inscription on edge: "LIEUT. T.S.H. TWYNAM. I.N.".
