Prize medal, River Fencibles 1804
Engraved prize medal, Corps of River Fencibles of the City of London. Obverse: Within a border of palm leaves, separated by four roses at the cardinal points of the compass, a female figure of London standing, robed, her left hand resting on an anchor, her right holding a wreath. Inscription: 'L.L.V. River Fencibles'. Reverse inscribed: 'From Commodore Lucas awarded to AMOS PEVERIL 16 May. 1804. for MERIT'. Cast with an ornamental loop.
