Prize medal, Great Exhibition
Obverse: Conjoined busts of Queen Victoria and Prince Concort (L) dolphin below, a trident right.Inscription: "VICTORIA D:G:BRIT:REG:F:D. ALBERTUS PRINCEPS CONJUX MDCCCLI". Inscription on edge: "MESSRS. GREEN. CLASS VIII. PRIZE MEDAL OF THE EXHIBITION". Presented for good workmanship, for a modal of the Owen Glendower, built by Green and Blackwall in 1839. Reverse: Britannia seated (L) Industry kneeling below her; figures representing London, India, Africa, and Australia, standing (R) and behind. Legend: "DISSOCIATA LOCIS CONCORDI PACE LIGAVIT".
