Prize medal, Working Classes Industrial Exhibition ca.1866
Obverse: A coat of arms, City of London, with flags above, supported by dragons. Below, a ribbon resting on a crossed sword and sceptre above a crown. Inscription on ribbon: "DOMINE DIRIGE NOS". Reverse: within an oak and laurel wreath tied with a ribbon a circular scroll or scallop shell, a floral spray below. Legend: "WORKING CLASSES INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION CA.1866". Inscription on scroll: "Guildhall 1866". Presented to Lieut. E.R.May, for an invention for lowering ships' boats.
