Prize medal, S. A. Training Ship General Botha
Obverse: Bust of King George V, crowned in a robe with collar and order. Reverse: the arms of South Africa above an inscribed tablet and hung upon a wreath of protea (L) laurel (above) and oak (R) tied with a bow below. Legend: "HIS MAJESTY THE KING'S MEDAL". Inscription on tablet: "TRAINING SHIP GENERAL BOTHA". Inscription on edge: "P.B.SCHONFELDT. S.C.C.". (This medal was presented annually to the best boy in the ship, which was in use in Table Bay 1922-1947).
