New Zealand, Long and Efficient Service Medal
Obverse: Within a wreath of oak and eucalyptus tied with a bow, the Royal Crown on a cushion, crossed by sword and sceptre; below: "N.Z."; a star above, below (R) and (L). Reverse: inscription: "FOR LONG AND EFFICIENT SERVICE". Inscription on edge: "No. 162 1/c. P.O.Henry Jones Auckland Nav.Arty.Vols. 1895". Fitted with a loop, ring and a pin bar decorated with a lion's head (C), and crimson ribbon.
