Obverse: Engraved on a smooth surface Mars (C) presenting a soldier (L) to Britannia seated (R) holding a trident in her left hand, a shield at her side. Reverse: Legend: "ENGLAND EXPECTS EVERY MAN TO DO HIS DUTY". Inscription: "PRIZE MEDAL Presd by Coll. Chennell to Thomas Johnson. LEFT BATTN N.V. Dec 24 1806". Fitted with a loop and ring.
