Obverse: A nude boy with slight drapery flying out from behind left arm instead of a cloak, blowing on a torch held in his right hand. Legend: 'LATEAT SCINTILLVLA FORSAN'. Exergue: 'SOC . LOND . IN .RESVSCITAT. INTERMORTVORVM INSTIT. MDCCLXXIV'. Reverse: Within an oak garland tied with ribbon, name of recipient and inscription. Legend: 'HOC PRETIVM CIVE SERVATO TVLIT'. Inscription: 'R.H.S. Do. SHEARLY. VITAS. OB RESTITVTAS DONO DAT 1805'. [7 straight lines]. Inscription on edge: 'GO AND DO THOU LIKEWISE'. In a glazed case fitted with a "watch key" as a loop and in a fitted box. Signed LP on reverse under wreath (Lewis Pingo). This is the original die for this medal.
