Obverse: Similar to MED0546 but a different design. Legend: 'VICTORIA D : G : BRITANNIARUM REGINA. F. D.' Reverse: Within an oak wreath tied with a ribbon, a flower below. Inscription: 'PRESENTED BY THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT'. Legend: 'FOR GALLANTRY AND HUMANITY'. Inscription on edge: 'C.A. PETERS 24TH NOVEMBER 1892'. Fitted with a cusped bar and dark blue ribbon.
