Inscription: 'PRESENTED BY THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT'. Legend: 'FOR GALLANTRY AND HUMANITY'. Inscription on edge: 'C.A. PETERS 24TH NOVEMBER 1892'. Fitted with a cusped bar and dark blue ribbon.
