Legend: 'MINISTERE DE LA MARINE ET DES COLONIES'. Inscription: 'A PETER MELVILLE MATELOT ANGLAIS SERVICES A LA MARINE MARCHANDE FRANCAISE 1876'. Fitted with a loop and ring and tricolour ribbon.
