U-Boats Combat Clasp
Uniface badge. Port side of a submarine superimposed on an oval wreath, an eagle displayed, a swastika in its claws above crossed Roman swords below. Oak leaves (L) and (R) of oval. Inscription reverse: (L) "ENTWERF PEEKHAUS". (R) "AUSF SCHWERIN BERLIN 1968". Issued from may 1944 for exceptional merit. From Nov 1944 also issued in silver and later in gilt also. Fitted with a pin.
