Inscription on enamel: "VALPARAISO A SU VALIENTES 1879-81". Reverse: A five-pointed star (C) a smaller one on either side, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Legend: "CAMPANA CONTRA EL PERU Y BOLIVIA". Inner line: "BATTALON CIVICO DE ARTILLERIA NAVAL". Fitted with a loop and eagle with wings outspread and a blue and red watered silk ribbon.
