Reverse: An eagle, wings outspread perched on an anchor; below, a wreath of oak and bay tied with a bow. Legend: "UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS". Inscription: "FOR SERVICE". Stamped on edge: "B B & B". Fitted with a ring and a blue ribbon with two broad red stripes.
