Jug
Pratt ware jug moulded in relief with a portrait of Admiral of the Fleet, Adam Duncan (1731-1804) to the left of the handle, 'ADMIREL DUNCAN' (sic) inscribed on the sash. He is shown in profile with an orange coat, hat and hair; behind him is a sea coloured green with two dolphin's heads. On the other side of the jug are two girls in classical dress spotted orange, blue and green. One has a basket on her head, the other is holding a palm frond. There are trees to the left and right, also spotted, and green grass. The jug has a blue rim and decoration on the spout and blue and orange decoration on the base. The neck of the jug is moulded with a fruiting vine painted blue and green, the handle scroll and strap shaped.
