Creamware bowl
A small creamware bowl hand-painted on the exterior with a head and shoulders portrait of Admiral Augustus Keppel (1725-1786). Keppel is shown in a red uniform, within a black and red border. Inscribed on the other side 'Admiral Keppel' in black within a similar border. Inside the bowl, a narrow black line is painted around the rim interlaced with a wavy garland of red leaves.
