Teapot
Creamware teapot transfer-printed in black with a half length figure of Admiral Augustus Keppel (1725-1786) holding a telecope against a background of naval trophies, with a small figure of Fame and Justice above. Inscribed: 'The Honble Augtus Keppel' and hand-coloured in red, brown, pink, green and yellow. On the other side a warship under sail. The teapot is cylindrical in shape with a serpentine handle. There is acanthus moulding on the spout, and moulding around the base and on the lid which has a moulded flower knop. The teapot is marked AAA4407.1 and the lid is marked AAA4407.2.
