English delftware plate. The centre is painted in blue with a portrait of Admiral Augustus Keppel (1725-1786), the head turned to the left and surrounded by decorative patterning. Inscribed in black near the edge: 'ADMIRAL KEPPEL FOR EVER'. The rim of the plate is painted brown.
