India General Service Medal 1854-95

Obverse: Head of Queen Victoria with a diadem, hair tied in a knot (L). Legend: "VICTORIA REGINA". Reverse: Winged Victory standing (L) crowning with a wreath a seated warrior (R). Suspended from a cusped bar ribbon of three scarlet and two blue stripes. Bar: "PEGU". Inscription on edge: "W.SAMS O.R.D. H.M.S. CONTEST".
