Badge: Aryan and Seigneurial Order of the Empire
Obverse: Gold Maltese cross of eight points, enamelled white, each point tipped with a small gold ball and in the angle between each arm of the cross a gold maple leaf. In the centre a shield, surmounted by a lion and crown, within a blue enamel circle. Motto Inscription: "DIEU ET MON DROIT". Bar: "SEIGNEUR OF CANADA ARYAN AND SEIGNEURIAL ORDER". Reverse: The same but all gold and with a centre device of a crowned double headed eagle. Motto: "ARYAN AND SEIGNEURIAL ORDER OF THE EMPIRE". In fitted box of issue. Suspended by a ring from a blue watered silk ribbon to which is affixed an inscribed oval bar of blue enamel and gilt. Presented to J.D.deVitre, Seigneur of Canada fl.1914.
