Badge: Silver star of five rays with double points with a small silver ball on each point, enamelled white, the arms connected with a green enamelled laurel and oak wreath surmounted by an Imperial Crown. Obverse: In the centre the head of Napoleon, gilt. Inscription: "NAPOLEON EMPEREUR DES FRANCAIS". Reverse: The Imperial Eagle gilt, encircled by a blue enamelled circle. Inscription: "HONNEUR ET PATRIE". Suspended from a scarlet watered silk ribbon.
