Badge: Order of the Medjidie, 4th class
Badge: Cut silver star of seven points between the arms are seven small crescents and stars. In the centre is the sultan's cypher on a gold ground, surrounded by a crimson enamelled band with a Turkish inscription. Presented to Charles Gerveys Grylls, Cdr. RN. Fitted with a brooch pin. Suspended from a red watered silk ribbon (with rosette), with green edges and a silver double pinned suspension bar.
