Bowl

Creamware bowl with a painted interior depicting a two-masted Dutch vessel under sail wearing a large, coloured Dutch ensign 'Het Welvaren Van De Maria & Petronella Van Maesfluys Capt Jan Van Der Endt 2/25 1779'. The vessel is picked out in blue and yellow, the sea in blue and green. There is a black patterned border inside the rim. On the outside are four black transfers: Neptune and Amphitrite in sea cars with tritons, a drinking scene and a sailor's farewell.
