Captain Miller (possibly)
Miniature entitled 'Captain Miller'. The miniature is executed in watercolour and gum arabic on ivory. The miniature is now unframed, but was formerly mounted and framed with a series of miniatures depicting Naval Captains associated with Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805) and is significantly discoloured. The sitter is a man with short, white hair and is wearing a blue jacket and white shirt with a high neck.
