A small child's plate with a scalloped rim and a border of daisies with yellow and brown centres. It has a black transfer engraving, hand-coloured in yellow and green, depicting a figure made out of two peg legs, two hook hands, a coil of rope and with a block for a head. It is wearing a cocked hat and holds a rammer, shipping is shown in the background; below the figure is inscribed: 'NAUTICAL'.
