This is an early 20th century brass replica of the 'Valentia' mariner's astrolabe, NAV0022.
Graduated quadrantally to show altitude ( i.e. 90 degs at top under thumb ring). Machine drawings made April 1961 in Astrolabes box file. See office correspondence Adams A 1956-60.
