Murray's Radial Set Square

The instrument consists of a semi-circular brass protractor 4.0" (10.1 cm) radius, graduated 0 - 90 - 0 by 1 degree, with a tranaparent centre intersected by hair lines, and with a set square at an angle of 90 deg made to radiate around the arc. In the middle of the set square can be clamped a steel tape, length 23.5" (59.7 cm), graduated 1 - 24 inches, so fitted that one edge radiates from the centre of the instrument.

In a fitted wooden box which has instructions for use pasted on the lid and inside the lid.
