Dry card compass

Invented by Capt. R.E. Kater Box 8.8" x 8.8" x 4.5" (22.5 x 22.5 x 11.4cm) This dry card is fitted with a prism on the back sight and a hair line on the fore sight. One flat nedle is provided. The cap carries an agate bearing. The bowl carries two levels and the stand is provided with three levelling screws. The card, coloured green, is a rim 3/4" wide carried on the needle and a brass spoke at right angles to the needle. Graduation 360 degs in 15'.
