Surveying compass

Bowl-Anodized brass, glazed. Inside of bowl black. Fitted with a card locking mechanism operated by slide at side of bowl, and a card brake operated by a stud at side of bowl.
Sights-Fitted with a folding slit sight on one side and a folding rectangular frame 3.25" high complete with thread and a 90 degree prism.
Card-Dia. 3.4" (8.6cm) Mica (?) covered with green paper and with black markings. Graduated to eight points and to 360 degrees. Jewelled pivot cap mounted at centre.
