Dry card compass
Bowl-Wodd, glazed. fitted with detachable wooden bottom, and brass pivot stem at centre. Mounted in brass gimbal ring secured inside wooden box 7.5 x 7.5 x 4.8" (19 x 19 x 12.2 cm). the base of box has a hole at centre and a sliding lid with three finger grips.
Needle- Tapered steel edge bar type 3.5" (8.9cm) long.
Pivot-Brass stem 1" (2.5cm) long attached at centre of base of bowl.
