Dry card compass - marching

Bowl-Black painted brass, fitted with a rotating verge ring which has a directional arrow and is graduated on side to 360 degs. Fitted with a "Schmalcalder" type prism and a thumb ring. Hinged lid has a sighting line engraved on glass at centre. Card stop mechanism fitted to side of bowl.
Card-Dia. 1.3" (4.6cm) "Mother of Pearl" outer ring with black centre, graduated to 360 degs.
Leather carrying case.
