Folding rule retrieved from the wreck of the Stirling Castle, which went aground on the Goodwin Sands in the Great Storm of 1703.

Fragment 1: 201 x 21 x 9 mm
One side carries a scale of inches from 11 to 14 by tenths. One edge shows traces of an unidentified scale 110 to 130.
Fragment 2: 124 x 20 x 9 mm
One side carries a scale of inches from 20 to 30 by tenths. One edge shows traces of an unidentified scale 20 to 40 and 30 to 40. It has four brass location studs.
