Parallel rule with a box.
Ruler: Wooden parallel ruler consisting of three bars, with a brass protractor attached to the left hand end of the centre bar by a brass bracket with pointer and clamp screw.
Protractor: Dia. 4.5" (11.4 cm) the outer brass ring graduated quadrantally in degrees and inscribed at North "NORD DE LA CARTE". The inner silvered disc rotates and is graduated quadrantally in degrees and to 32 points.
