Lodestone in brass strapwork case.
Lodestone mounted in brass filigree casing with ornamental suspension ring at centre of top. A steel 'keep plate' is attached by two brass chains held in the mouths of two ornamental brass lions mounted on top of the casing. Base of casing 'armed' with two pieces of steel at the poles.
Possibly made in Russia for the Western market.
