Clinometer
Silvered brass dial, brass mechanism and steel fittings.
Dial- Graduated 0-70degs. 0-70 degs, either side of lowest point. Four small dials graduated: 1000-9000; 100-900; 10-90; 1-9. The small dials are mechanically cinnected to register the number of rolls. The main register is provided with two maximim heel indicators which can be reset by means of two levers. A stop is provided to prevent the heavy brass pendulum from swinging during transit.
Case-The instrument is contained in a mahogany case 11.75 x 11.75 x 3.6" (29.8 x 29.8 x 9.2cm) and is provided with a lock for the hinged glass-fronted face panel. A mahogany supporting bracket and an adjusting key are provided.
In wooden fitted box 17.25 x 14.5 x 6" (43.9 x 36.9 x 15.3cm) containing four large copper screws and brass hook.
